This design is a symbol of Atlanta’s position as a world city in the modern era. With elegant brevity and colors mirroring those found in the Flag of Georgia, this design merges the old and new aspects that define Atlanta’s standing as a nexus of global activity. The simple yet symbolic ‘A’ in the position of honor compliments the bold contrasts – saying more with less, while the open space avoids cluttering the design (as well as allowing for mends to be made without disturbing the iconography.) Easily memorable and inexpensive to produce, this design is the culmination of everything for which Atlanta stands.
