Circle of Unity

By: Miles Hsu

The central white circle represents the unity of Atlanta. The inverted colors within the circle symbolizes an exchange of ideas that lead to tolerance and cooperation as well as progress. The colors reflect those of the American flag as I believe Atlanta, with its diverse culture and people, is one of the most, if not the most, American city in our country.

  1. I really like this design! The white circle also reminds me of I285 which goes around the city of Atlanta. If I was a random person who saw this walking on the street, I285 would definitely come to mind. This would be a great flag for the city of Atlanta. It is far better the current one we now have. What plans does anyone have to bring this to the attention of the officials in Atlanta?
The people of Atlanta probably don’t even know that they have a flag, or at least they cannot recall what it looks like from memory.
This would be a great flag!
