An out of the box design that is a stylized image of a phoenix. The orange cross represents the city of Atlanta as the core of with the red cross the greater metro area. The two crosses interlock together to symbolize the coming together of the two to create a stronger whole. It also represents the coming together of the people of Atlanta. The star is representative of Atlanta’s position as the state capital.

I like this one! Just a quick note: the title of this page should say “Phoenix Rising”, not “Pheonix Rising”

This hits so many symbolic points with a simple design a child could draw from memory. Evoking the image of the Phoenix, crossroads, and the letter A, all with simple geometric lines. Nice high contrast color. It makes me think of the city just on sight. It might be my favorite.
