Atlanta

  1. Golden Ellipse Emblem on a Cobalt Blue Field represents the Gate City’s togetherness in the face of adversity. The Atlanta Phoenix successfully rises from the destructive flames. Symbolic of the struggle to recover from the Great Fire of 1917. The disconnection within the shapes of the emblem shall make us ever aware that each of us needs to be mindful and supportive of all our neighbours least we become disconnected. The two unconnected blue flames stand for the two counties (Fulton and DeKalb), whilst the single gold flame stands for the 1996 Olympics hosted within the city.
